BIRKOSIT — The Turbine Parting-Plane Standard

BIRKOSIT is a single-component, non-curing paste sealing compound for the parting planes and split flanges of steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, and large rotating machines. It tolerates temperatures up to 900°C and pressures up to 550 bar (screw joints), does not cure, and remains permanently elastic in service. It is resistant to steam, oil, condensate, crude oil, and natural gas. Guaranteed 10-year service life on machined sealing surfaces. Available in India through Project Sales Corp.

FILLING — Next-Generation Surface Sealing and Restoration

FILLING Basic, FILLING 1000, and FILLING 2000 are the next-generation evolution of BIRKOSIT — same chemical safety philosophy, 950°C temperature resistance, higher pressure ratings (275 bar split joints, 570 bar flanges), and the ability to compensate surface damage up to 1.0 mm depth. They are selected not on temperature but on surface damage depth: Basic for ≤0.2 mm, FILLING 1000 for ≤0.5 mm, FILLING 2000 for ≤1.0 mm. Approved by Siemens Energy and GE (Alstom). Arexons Motorsil D Red — RTV Silicone for Flanges and Housings

Arexons Motorsil D Red is a one-component RTV silicone sealant for gearbox, pump, and compressor parting planes and flange joints where a formed-in-place gasket is required. Moisture-cures at room temperature. Application suitability must be confirmed against operating conditions, fluid type, and temperature for each specific joint.

Niel-Seal — Hydrogen-Cooled Generator End-Shield Sealing

Niel-Seal (formerly Tite-Seal® by Abbey Products) is purpose-engineered for hydrogen-cooled turbo-generator end-shield groove sealing — injected into the groove channels between shield halves and the stator housing. A permanently flexible, putty-like compound, unaffected by water, oil, steam, ammonia, glycerin, and most gases. Available in Light-Weight and Medium-Weight grades based on groove geometry and consistency requirement.
